I am so sick and tired of seeing stats quoted from Karen Delise and the National Canine Research Council. The NCRC is thrown out there as if it is an official body and it appears no one takes the time to research the NCRC to find out the true mission, lying about pit bulls.
So I thought it was time for us, the advocates of human life over that of pit bulls, to give ourselves a new name, one official sounding like the NCRC. I'm looking for suggestions.
How about the Worldwide Council on Pit Bull Myths, WCPBM? I'm sure that my readers can come up with a better one. I like DBO representing DogsBite but we need something that encompasses all of us including no kill. So send in those suggestions. Our motto can be something like "Save humans, not pit bulls". Our mission statement can be that the question is no longer how to save the pits, but rather how to save ourselves from the pits. I'm not that imaginative so I need your help. If Karen Delise can pass herself off under the guise of a misleading name, then surely we can pass ourselves off as a legit effort.

Karen Delise needs to be held personally and legally responsibile for her falsehoods and lies, and her guarantees about pit bulls and warranteeing their safety.
And there needs to be an examination into WHERE THE MONEY COMES FROM with her business.
I predict that there will be a court case pointing in that direction. Some smart attorney will do the research, find where the deep pockets are and will go after it. Somebody will set the example sooner or later. There are too many people who have been affected by the pit attacks and fatalities and evidently they will come together as a force. The pits will pick the wrong person one day and I say it might be soon.

WCPBM, I like that. But we want anyone and everyone to look at the info so maybe, Worldwide Council on Pit Bulls. We're not just into the myths but the realities too. So we have one vote for WCPBM and one vote for WCPB. Thanks Craven

So now, all we have to do is set up a web site, write a book, and shades of Karen Delise. Who cares what experience is behind the name, she didn't. Any suggestions about doing all this? Would make us sound "more official", don't you think? Delise took a page from the Whino's book on how to deceive people. We need to give them a taste of their own medicine.
How about Worldwide Human/Canine Safety Council? Nobody gets their panties in a knot just by looking at the name. That comes later...
Flicka, I like that one and the reasoning makes sense. Sounds official and people will already be into it before they realize what it is. So now all I have to do is figure out how to introduce the Worldwide Human/Canine Safety Council.
