Subject: Brookhaven Long Island Shelter in State of EMERGENCY NOW! People Needed!
AUGUST 1, 2011
Long Island, New York
*THE BROOKHAVEN ANIMAL SHELTER IS IN A STATE OF EMERGENCY.*
SOME DOGS HAVE RINGWORM AND NEED TO BE DIPPED.
ALL UNION WORKERS HAVE WALKED OFF THE JOB FORCING THE SHELTER TO CLOSE.
THEY ARE DEMANDING THE DOGS BE KILLED INSTEAD OF TREATED.
THIS IS RIDICULOUS BUT WHAT CAN YOU EXPECT FROM PEOPLE LIKE THAT?
DORI THE SHELTER DIRECTOR NEEDS VOLUNTEERS DESPERATELY.
PLEASE GO TO THE BROOKHAVEN ANIMAL SHELTER EVEN FOR AN HOUR AND PITCH IN TO HELP.
THE SHELTER IS LOCATED ON HORSEBLOCK ROAD.
DON'T LET THE BEAUREACRATS WIN.
MAYBE THIS WILL BE A WAY TO GET RID OF THE UNION EMPLOYEES AND HIRE REAL ANIMAL LOVERS.
PLEASE HELP.
THIS WILL BE ONGOING FOR THE NEXT FEW DAYS.
DORI HAS DONE SUCH A GREAT JOB TURNING THE SHELTER INTO THE ONLY NO KILL MUNICIPAL SHELTER ON LONG ISLAND
LETS NOT LET HER DOWN WHEN SHE NEEDS OUR HELP. The Animals need our HELP!!! (THE LAST THING THE ANIMALS NEED IS HELP FROM YOU NO KILL'ERS, THAT'S WHY THEY ARE IN THE SHAPE THEY ARE IN NOW.)
This email writer better learn that these employees care more for the animals than she obviously does.
Plus this "No Kill" agency is allowing a woman who was charged with 23 counts of animal cruelty to foster for them. http://www.wbir.com/news/local/story.aspx?storyid=177923
Another allegation centers around Renee Huntley, a woman who was charged with 23 counts of animal cruelty in Knoxville back in 2008. Huntley is still fosters animals for the humane society. "I've known this person for a long time, she has a wonderful heart, and she's saved more animals than any other rescue group that I can think of, put together," he said. "She does a wonderful job." (WHAT!!! A WOMAN WITH THAT MANY COUNTS OF ANIMAL CRUELTY AND THIS "NO KILL"ER THINKS SHE IS DOING A WONDERFUL JOB????
Then there is Tompkins County, the Whino's claim to fame, where it is so overcrowded presently. Here is the news article and read what their definition of "Open admission" is. Yeah right, it's called turning away animals in need, quite inhumane because those animals will be dumped.

Tompkins County residents who need to surrender a pet are asked to call to schedule an appointment. While it's unusual for all spaces in the shelter to be filled at this time of the year, according to Bouderau, reaching capacity means that the no-kill shelter can only accept pets based on the availability of space.
"I think people often misunderstand 'open admission' as 'instant admission'", Bouderau said, "but that wouldn't be responsible of us and we need to make sure every pet in our shelter will have appropriate space and care." OH NO, IT MEANS THAT ANIMALS HAVE TO SUFFER, THAT IS WHAT IT MEANS. WHAT ABOUT THOSE TURNED AWAY, CAN YOU INSURE THEY WILL HAVE APPROPRIATE SPACE AND CARE? YOU SURE AS HELL CAN'T. THIS IS NOT THE WAY TO TREAT OUR PETS.

Here's a protest story involving a No-Kill group whose leader admits to allowing an individual convicted of 23 counts of animal cruelty.

This No-Kill individual has claimed the Facebook realm for No-Kill state pages pointing back to his No-Kill Revolution page. Steer clear of this organization.
It's not news that "No Kill" allows hoarders to be "foster" homes. The PSPCA did the same and had to bust their foster home. The hoarder also stated that she was doing the same under the reign of PACCA, the Whino's hand picked management staff.
And who says that "No Kill" doesn't promote hoarding?
The Trudy Herenlips of the world play right into Rick Berman and the AKC's puppy milling hand by helping them torture these animals in these No Kill Killing Torture pits.
