Winograd:Put Your Money Where Your Mouth Is

Winograd is again condemning HSUS for their role in the Wilkes dog fighting case. I applaud them for taking a stand for the victims of pits. These aren't the typical street dogs used by street punks who know nothing about breeding the fight into dogs, these are true fighting dogs, bred for that purpose, bred for bad temperaments.

I challenge Winograd to take these dogs home with him, raise them "right" and let them take the face of his children off. It's about time you showed us that you are willing to do what you tell others to do. You adopt these dogs, not anyone else, you, Winograd.

This is the Faron dog fighting case, right?

Best Friends conveniently didn't show up at the hearing. Neither did Nathan Winograd.

WHY DIDN'T NATHAN WINOGRAD SHOW UP, OR HAVE SOMEONE SHOW UP, and arrange to take these dogs?

He was nowhere NEAR Wilkes County. Not a peep from Winograd.

They MISSED the court hearing about the dogs. They didn't show.

Why? First, they know these dogs were dangerously violent, and they would have been sued for what these dogs would have done.

But also the Faron dogs came with NO MONEY.

Best Friends took the Vick pit bulls because they came with huge amounts of money, and they had a "name" that they now illegally use to fundraise.

They are making money off the Vick dogs.

They don't take pit bulls from Utah, for heaven's sake.

But where there is money, there are Best Friends and Nathan Winograd trying to get their hot little hands on it, are now the pr yarnspinning is in overdrive to make more.

And as for what the Best Friends/Nathan Winograd machine did with pit bulls they had after the Katrina rescues?
Here is what happened to some of them.

Don Chambers the Dog Guy killed them.

Who even knows where the others ended up? With the millions that Best Friends got donated and begged for during Hurricane Katrina, they just dumped all the pit bulls and problem dogs.

These are the kinds of "rescues" that the Best Friends/Winograd machine hand out dogs to.

They were doing the same thing at PACCA in Philadelphia. (and now Douglas Rae is in Indianapolis. God help those dogs.)

'Don the Dog Guy,' who lied about caring for dogs saved from Hurricane Katrina, gets a year in prison

Plain Dealer Reporter January 30, 2009 11:30AM

Lorain County Jail

Donald D. Chambers, 40, of Amherst, was sentenced this morning to a year in prison, fined $1,000 and ordered to pay $62,124 in restitution to the Best Friends Animal Society in Utah.
Chambers had told the nonprofit group caring for dogs rescued after Hurricane Katrina that he would take some of them and find them homes.

He received 28 dogs from the Best Friends Animal Society and $36,720 to care for them until they were adopted.

Chambers didn't spend the money on the dogs, and just three of them landed in homes. Most are dead."

This is the Faron case. This is a professional, animals bred for certain traits, you bet your booty that when they hit about 2-3 years old, we will see the news stories then. There were groups willing to take the dogs, but that is not the issue. They would take the dogs, and then adopt them out, that is the issue. Pure denial is what Winograd and his people are in when it comes to what these dogs were bred to do. If we would just come out of denial, we might find a solution.

" It's about time you showed us that you are willing to do what you tell others to do. You adopt these dogs, not anyone else, you, Winograd. "

Statement should go to all the no-kill fanatics.

"He received 28 dogs from the Best Friends Animal Society and $36,720 to care for them until they were adopted."

So that's how these *holes make their money....

"But where there is money, there are Best Friends and Nathan Winograd trying to get their hot little hands on it, are now the pr yarnspinning is in overdrive to make more."

Keep blowing that whistle!

Why doesn't this get into the newspapapers all over the United States!!!!!!!

People are sending these scamers their life-savings and putting them in their Wills and handing over their ESTATES!

Alley Cat Allies always sends crap in the mail asking donors to consider putting them in their ESTATE planning.

These people should all be in jail scamming off the elderly and soft-hearted.

Best Friends also had Don Chambers AT the sanctuary, scamming merrily along.

And they let him use his website to continue his scams.

Look at the latter part of that article, and someone from Best Friends just says, "oh he seemed so nice"

ALL scammers and consters, and HOARDERS "seem" nice.

These poor animals, when No Kill gets their hooks into them!

Error

Best Friends let Don Chambers use THEIR website to scam members and donors

What kind of No Kill madness is going on at the Blount County Animal Shelter, Alabama

I saw this alert. It sounds like a Pacca meltdown there. Not euthanizing, just letting animals die of disease. Anyone know who is running it?

"Hi, I just adopted two puppies at the local County Shelter on Friday
February 20, 2009 that afternoon. Only to find out they have parvo
and are not going to survive. One puppy was 8 weeks, Zoey the other
is 8 ½ weeks they adopted both dogs out to me without disclosing
there illness to me and they had not been checked or quarantined or
had a “hold” period. I took the youngest to the vet Tuesday a.m.
and the other the next morning am and was told that day they both
have parvo. I called the shelter and advised them they told me I
could bring them back (which I have) and was informed after the fact
that they were not surprised that “bear” was sick because she had
just be surrendered that Friday morning before I got there (they
didn’t tell me that). They have taken the dogs back but possible
some if not all the dogs there are infected. Lots of puppies there
and nursing moms.

Blount County Animal Shelter, Alabama please help!
Contact me for more information im egar to help with this situation."

On Blount County, does it claim to be no kill, is is a publically owned shelter? Can you rely a little more info? Parvo is a disease most shelters have problems with and puppies are the ones to get it. A little more info please.

I can only imagine which no kill shelters gave their pit bulls to this guy

accused-of.html

Man hoarding pit bulls that he got at shelters

I bet the no kills that gave them to him are still claiming that the dogs all found happy homes

The Winogradites are in Blount County, that's for sure

The buildup in that shelter sounds like the typical Winograd operation- let them pile up, overcrowd, then disease sets in.

Any newspaper stories on the Blount County shelter? And what is happening there, overcrowding, disease, whatever.

The LA hoarder is linked with Charlotte Spadaro, another infamous hoarder and she has just been busted again. You can see her on the pet abuse site. Her legal date has been put off by her abuse of the system since 2005. All the while she continues to abuse dogs. When she finds one she doesn't try to find an owner, just takes the collar off and throws it away. I'm not sure she can be stopped.

Why doesn't the Whino come after Best Friends for what they did? They took donations, pawned off the dogs on someone else, and pocketed the majority of those donations. That's worse than HSUS could ever do. Best Friends needs a new name, Bad Friends is more suitable.
